• BBM upgrade notifications – BBM will notify you when there are updates to download straight from within the app
• BBID Synchronization – your BBM profile, Groups and Contacts are linked to your BlackBerry ID
• 16 Additional emoticons – even more choice for those times when words just aren’t enough. Can you spot the new ones? *Drool*

Update notification through App World might take up to 24 hours to show up, but a reboot sometimes speeds up the process.  Also please note, that BBM 7 also updates the BBM association with BlackBerry ID which will make backing up your contact list a lot easier, as well a switching devices.

• While in a active phone call, receiving a BBM Voice Call will drop the audio for the phone call for OS 6.0 device

• Ability to know when my Facebook friends are sharing their PINs so I can invite them to BBM

Twitter for BlackBerry 4.0.0.7 now available in the BlackBerry Beta Zone

• Simplified NavBar: The Navigation Bar has been made simpler, more consistent with Twitter's own navigation, and includes Home, Connect, Discover, Search and Me. 
  • Users will find Trends has become part of Discover Tab and Direct Messages (DMs) and Lists have been moved under the Me Tab (previously known as My Profile).
• Connect Tab with Interactions: Previously known as Mentions, the Connect Tab displays additional types of user interactions including when one of your Tweets is Favorited, Retweeted or Replied To, and when you have a new Follower.

BBM Money Launching In Indonesia “Shortly,” Will Enable Peer-To-Peer Funds Transfer Via Messenger

Blackberry is to enter the peer-to-peer money transfer market. BBM Money will soon allow owners of its handsets to send money to each other that can then be withdrawn from banks' cash machines. Indonesia will be first to get it - a country not typically associated with big tech launches, but it is a critical market for RIM.
